Most apps ask you to be judged on a picture in under a second. UNIQ asks you six questions about what actually works for you — your energy, how you like to talk, what you are into, what makes a day good, what you are looking for, and the pace that suits you.
- Fill in as much or as little as you like. Empty bubbles are a valid answer, not an incomplete profile.
- People can see how you connect before they see your face — which changes who reaches out, and why.
- Nothing here needs a diagnosis or any medical paperwork. It is a description, not a form.

A dating app for the people dating apps were not built for
Most dating apps are built for speed. Scroll fast, decide fast, reply fast. If you need another moment to think, if you would rather write for a while before meeting, or if you simply want to know that somebody is looking after the space — you get left outside. UNIQ was built for exactly that gap.
It is designed for people who want a quieter screen and a slower pace, and the support comes from a professional team — before the first message, before the meeting, and after it.
Who it is for
Adults aged 18 and over living in and around London: neurodivergent people, disabled people, and people facing mental health challenges — as well as anyone who finds that the pace, the noise and the unwritten rules of other apps just do not fit them. You do not need a diagnosis or any medical paperwork to join.
Why there is a list rather than a download
UNIQ is a live community, and opening a city properly means having the people and the support in place before the first person arrives. What makes it work is the team behind it, and that team has to be ready in London before the first person arrives. Rather than let you install something that is not ready for you yet, we would rather take your details and use them once — on the day London opens.
What we do with your details
- Your name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender and area are used to tell you when UNIQ opens in London and to arrange your introduction call — and for nothing else.
- We do not sell, share or rent your details, and there is no newsletter attached.
- Every email has a one-click way off the list, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
- The full detail, including who the data controller is, is in the privacy policy.
Free to join
Creating a profile, being verified, browsing and matching are free. Professional services — profile building, date preparation, emotional support — are optional and paid for separately.
